Our History
The proprietary BCS Suite of tools has been evolving since its first application in 1988. In 1995 Business Coaching Systems was established to promote and deliver these tool.. Since that time John Vamos continues to develop, test and apply, with the help of a team of ‘BCS trained’ practitioner-coaches, these internationally acclaimed proprietary methodologies. We refer to them as Business Thinking Systems™.
A Thinking System is defined as “A tested and formulaic suite of purpose designed questions which, when answered with integrity, deliver the solution to each challenge an enterprise faces”. To qualify, each system must be disciplined, tested and proven.
Systems have now been developed for application towards; Strategic Planning, Operational Improvement, Performance Management, Cultural and Operational Change Management, Leadership, Sales and Executive Coaching.
To study, evidence the efficacy, and categorise our unique approach, the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS) partnered Business Coaching Systems in a four year research project aimed at quantifying and qualifying the validity of organisational coaching. This has helped define the standards of excellence and best practice for this important yet institutionally unregulated industry.
